Perception Pescador Pro 10: The Cons

While the Perception Pescador Pro 10 is great in calm waters, it is not suitable in all conditions and situations. We’ve found that anything over 2-foot waves to be too much to take the kayak out in.

The seat design that puts paddlers on top of the kayak can be a disadvantage in colder weather due to a lack of protection. Harsh winds and sporadic rain are conditions that would be absolutely miserable for fishing. There is inadequate room for any protective covering so planning ahead for good weather is imperative.

There are so limitations as far as the onboard storage in such a compact space, with rod holders that only accommodate 2 poles. For some of our other kayaks, such as the BKC, it has a mold for three rods.
